Like most countries, Nigeria is made up of both well developed areas and poorly developed areas. The areas most associated with poverty are considered slums. In Nigeria there are many slum neighborhoods where families lack nesseccities and have to walk miles for access to food, water and or shelter. Join the fight to combat poverty and improve the quality of life for our brothers and sisters, "For there will never cease to be poor in the land. Therefore I command you, ‘You shall open wide your hand to your brother, to the needy and to the poor, in your land (Deuteronomy 15:11; NKJV).'"

As of 2018, over 50% of the country lived in absolute poverty summing up to about 125,000,000 people living without sufficient a means for survival.
